Data Solution Architect

Job Title: Data Solution Architect / Engineer (Data, AI & ML)Job Type: Full-TimeLocation: Tampa, Florida (Hybrid)Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect / Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable data, AI, and ML solutions. This role requires a strong technical leader who can collaborate across teams, understand business needs, and deliver high-quality data platforms within an Agile environment.You will play a key role in building modern data ecosystems, enabling seamless integration across applications, and driving data-driven decision-making through cloud-native technologies.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define functional and non-functional requirements- Design data, AI, and ML architectures aligned with business workflows and technical needs- Lead data modernization initiatives and develop cloud migration strategies using modern data platforms- Architect and support scalable applications, data platforms, and integrations across systems- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including development, code reviews, and mentoring team members- Ensure solutions meet standards for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability- Define long-term architecture strategy and short-term implementation plans, including risk mitigation- Build and manage modern data lakehouse solutions using Databricks and cloud-native tools- Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines and models- Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive dataRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data modeling- 5+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms- Hands-on experience with Databricks (development, deployment, and administration)- Experience building data pipelines using PySpark or similar technologies- Knowledge of AI/ML solution design and implementation- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications:- Experience working in regulated or data-intensive industries (e.g., insurance, finance, healthcare)- Certifications in cloud, data engineering, or AI/ML platforms- Experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)- Exposure to MDM tools and data governance platforms- Familiarity with multiple programming languages and database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
