This role is critical in analyzing project specifications, building accurate cost estimates, and helping position our team to win the right work.The right candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid industry experience, and proficiency in McCormick estimating software. You will work closely with our preconstruction and project teams to ensure alignment from estimate to execution.Analyze project documents and specifications to define scope of workPerform material and labor takeoffs with accuracy and efficiencyBuild detailed estimates including labor, materials, and equipmentReview and interpret blueprints and technical documentsCollaborate with project managers and preconstruction teamsPrepare and submit complete, timely bid proposalsStay current on market pricing, materials, and construction methodsIdentify risks, gaps, and assumptions within each estimateSupport project handoff to ensure a smooth transition to operationsProven experience as an electrical or construction estimatorStrong proficiency in McCormick estimating software (required)Strong analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsSolid understanding of electrical systems and construction methodsClear communication and strong teamwork skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organization and time managementConfident in McCormick and able to lead estimating efforts3+ years of experience in a similar roleThink critically and bring solutions, not just numbersMove with urgency and follow through consistentlyPositive attitudeCoachable spiritStrong work ethicHeart to serve others and work as a teamLove We care for our people, our clients, and our workExcellence We do the job right, every timeGrowth We are always improving in our craft and characterStewardship We take ownership of what we've been entrusted withSalary: $70,000 $95,000 per yearFull Benefits Package Includes:401(k) with 4% matchMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Holidays
