JOB TITLE: Control Switchgear Assembler GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Control Switchgear Assembler for diesel and hydro generation controls manufacturer. Controlled Power, Inc. is one of the largest suppliers of utility switchgear systems in the Pacific Northwest. We are a small company that has been in business for more than forty years. Controlled Power Inc. is looking for someone who brings enthusiasm and energy to the workplace. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Control Switchgear Assembler is responsible for point to point hand wiring of components and terminals. The Control Switchgear Assembler is responsible for wire stripping and termination, hand soldering. The Control Switchgear Assembler is responsible for hole pattern layout and punching, drilling, cutting of sheet metal enclosures. The Control Switchgear Assembler must have working knowledge of blueprints and wiring schematics. The Control Switchgear Assembler must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., the ability to stand for extended periods, good math, accuracy, and organization skills. The Control Switchgear Assembler must be able to operate floor pallet jack and hand truck. May require forklift certification. Requires valid Washington State Drivers License for pickup and delivery tasks with CPI vehicle when required. The Control Switchgear Assembler Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are followed. The Control Switchgear Assembler is able to achieve required timelines and deliverables. Must be available for overtime when required. The Control Switchgear Assembler demonstrates ability to set priorities and strong attention to detail. The Control Switchgear Assembler must be able to perform other tasks as assigned by the Shop Supervisor in order to support the job requirements. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: Must have experience assembling, wiring, testing switchgear and industrial controls Ability to work with hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment Metal Fabrication experience a plus Demonstrate a high degree of dependability and motivation. Must poses strong time management skills and work well within a team environment Diesel and/or Hydro power generation experience a plus Ability to understand technical documentation, such as a single-line diagram or equipment specification Additional tasks may be assigned as secondary priority in support of company needs The Control Switchgear Assembler is a key team member for successful execution of the flow of product through the manufacturing process and on-time delivery of CPI products The Control Switchgear Assembler possess the ability to effectively communicate in a pleasant and positive manner If interested, please send Resume to: Controlled Power, Inc. 17909 Bothell Everett Hwy.
