Engineering Technician

This role will support the growth of our BRAND NEW Lincoln Manufacturing Cente r!!This position supports efforts of all manufacturing departments through the development, manufacturing, and/or procurement of tools, fixtures, equipment, and processes.Pay for this position is $65k-75k dependent on experience + Monthly Bonuses (up to $5,000 per year)!!What You'll Be DoingSupport new process development and sustainment activities to improve production safety, throughput, and quality.Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, teams, and trainings to drive continuous improvement in conjunction with our Timpte Production System.Assist with equipment and/or tooling design, development, installation, and troubleshooting.Maintain and update tooling and process documentation for all equipment and processes.What We're Looking ForAAS degree in a Manufacturing related field or minimum of 3 years experience in related field.Ability to read and interpret engineering part drawings.Must have an understanding of Fabrication, Subassembly, and Final line assembly in a Manufacturing environment.Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement solutions.Manufacturing experience in metal fabricator and/or welding is preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.Timpte will be celebrating 142 years in business this year and currently employs over 600 employees between our manufacturing facilities in David City and Lincoln, NE as well as our Customer Support Centers across the Midwest.
