About SpaceNav SpaceNav is a Colorado-based applied mathematics and aerospace engineering company. SpaceNav develops mission critical flight dynamics applications used to support satellite operations. We are encouraging applications for an Application Developer who enjoys collaborating, learning, and contributing to meaningful, mathematically intensive software projects. In this role, you’ll help design, develop, and deploy advanced applications that support our mission and our partners. We welcome candidates with a strong foundation in software engineering and mathematics, along with the curiosity and initiative to work both independently and as part of a diverse team. Success in this position also involves communicating effectively and building positive working relationships with professionals across a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. This role is based in Boulder, CO and requires 100% in-person work. Key Responsibilities: Develop and test various flight dynamics applications Turn mathematically intensive algorithms into software requirements and test specifications Work with engineers from other disciplines to develop software requirements and support design artifacts Help foster a positive and inclusive team culture Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, or related field. 3+ years’ programming in C/C++ Good understanding of containers and infrastructure automation. Strong background in object orientated programming paradigm. Due to regulatory and contractual agreements, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Competencies: Excellent verbal communication skills. Demonstrated capacity to self-manage tasks and projects with minimal oversight. Strong background in mathematics and engineering. Ability to collaborate with other professionals in various sectors. Outstanding problem solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Experience with cloud services, such as AWS.
