Mid-Sr level Python Developer

Mid-Sr. Python DeveloperWe are seeking a strong mid-to-senior level Developer to build and scale Python-based applications and infrastructure integrating with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Bedrock, and Bedrock AgentCore. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking a development story or requirement and independently driving it through design, development, and delivery. This role will focus primarily on new Python development, with some maintenance of existing code.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain primarily Python-based applications and infrastructure.Build new Python code and services, with an emphasis on new development rather than maintenance.Integrate Python applications with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and Bedrock AgentCore.Help scale Python infrastructure and applications as usage grows.Develop and integrate REST APIs.Build and support AI/agent-based capabilities using Amazon Bedrock.Contribute to the development of two new mobile AI agents for iOS and Android.Take development stories/requirements and independently drive solutions from concept through completion.Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to design and implement solutions.Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance as needed.Requirements5+ years of professional Python development experience in enterprise environmentsStrong experience building new applications and services with Python.Experience working with modern Python tooling, including uv.Experience with AWS cloud services.Experience with REST APIs and API integration..NET development experience/background.Ability to take a story or requirement and independently develop a solution in an agile environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with Amazon Bedrock.Experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or similar AI agent technologies.Mobile application development experience.Experience developing for iOS and/or Android.Experience building AI-powered applications or agents.Experience scaling cloud-based Python infrastructure.Benefits (employee contribution):Health insuranceHealth savings accountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending accountsLife insuranceRetirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
