Events Coordinator
Company Description:SelfSoulLiberate is a non-profit organization dedicated to achieving health equity and reducing stigma surrounding mental health in under-resourced communities. Our mission is to provide educational resources, develop sustainable wellness frameworks, and make care more accessible.Role Description:We are seeking proactive and organized Events Coordinators to join our team on a volunteer basis. This remote role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who are interested in mental health advocacy and want hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of quarterly mental health panel discussions.These panels feature mental health professionals, subject-matter experts, and community voices, with each event centered around a different mental health topic (e.g., anxiety, burnout, youth mental health, cultural perspectives). The role plays a key part in ensuring each panel is thoughtfully planned, smoothly executed, and impactful for attendees.Key Responsibilities:Help manage logistics, including scheduling, material preparation, and attendee registration.Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials for events.Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event operations.Assist in on-the-day event support, which may include virtual or in-person tasks depending on the event type.Maintain organized records of event details, budgets, and participant information.Contribute to post-event evaluations and reporting.Qualifications:Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Slides).Prior experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field is a plus, but not required.Volunteers should be available to work within a U.S. time zone for effective collaboration.
