About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Lighting and Signal Foreman to join our team and lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of roadway lighting, traffic signals, and related electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems. As a Foreman, you will coordinate teams, oversee quality control, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, inspect, and repair streetlights, traffic signals, flashing beacons, and other roadway lighting systems
Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues related to lighting and signal equipment
Perform conduit, wiring, pole, and electrical service installations in accordance with plans, specifications, and electrical codes
Read and interpret plans and electrical schematics
Operate bucket trucks, manlifts, forklifts, trenchers, augers, diagnostic tools, and other specialized equipment
Maintain and submit timely and accurate records of work performed, system conditions, and labor, equipment, and materials used
Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols (OSHA standards), technical specifications, and industry best practices.
Recruit, develop, and lead a crew of 3-5 employees
Ability to perform work independent of direct supervision
This position often requires travel during the work week to sites across the State of Texas
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in construction management with a focus on infrastructure lighting or signaling projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to electrical work and construction safety practices.
Excellent management skills with a focus on team supervision, scheduling, quality control, and problem-solving.
Ability to operate aerial and lift equipment (appropriate certifications preferred)
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug screens
Reliable transportation to and from the company facility
