Automotive Service Technician Level A

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Tech Level A to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with the skillset to diagnose and resolve automotive issues efficiently and accurately. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of automotive schematics. The Automotive Tech will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all vehicles are aligned, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs. Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems including electrical, fuel, and exhaust systems. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and development. Mentor Level B & C techs. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Tech or similar role in a dealership or independent shop is required. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance practices, and repair techniques. Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in an automotive repair environment.
