Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 3 - Security Clearance Eligibility Required
Location: Orlando, FL (onsite)
Duration: 6 Months CTH
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
Extensive experience (minimum 7-10 years) in mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing and developing complex mechanical systems and components. Experience in the defense or aerospace or simulation industry is highly desirable. Prior experience with virtual simulation systems or similar complex systems is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering, such as ASME, ISO, or similar guidelines.
Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

This is a role that requires hands on work with various simulators and equipment requiring standing for several hours, inclusive of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
