Speech Language Pathologist Location: Humansville, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,466 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Profession: Speech and Language Pathology Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours M-F, Flexible as long as consistent and communicated Experience: Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required; New grads acceptable with Level II experience License: Missouri State License Required Certifications: CCC certified SLP Required Must-Have: - Experience in Long Term Care or Rehabilitation - Ability to effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders - Competence in developing appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards - Proficiency in utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions - Skills to assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record as per regulatory standards - Ability to evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness - Capacity to provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders - Effective communication with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans - Experience in providing comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory requirements - Documentation of all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system - Accurate recording of treatment minutes for services provided in accordance with all regulatory requirements - Participation in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings - Engagement in required trainings, in-services, and conferences - Capability to obtain necessary Durable Medical Equipment or supplies per regulatory requirements - Ability to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists - Adherence to ASHA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice Description: Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Modifies services in relation to patient evaluation and makes referrals based on outcomes. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders. Communicates effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Provides comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory requirements. Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system. Maintains patient records according to company policy. Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements. Participates in required meetings, including patient care conferences and utilization review meetings. Engages in facility and company-required trainings, in-services, and conferences. Obtains necessary Durable Medical Equipment or supplies as per regulatory requirements. Supervises and supports CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
