Observes and shadows a registered nurse performing direct patient care. Excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills with the patient, family, and healthcare team.Other information:CPR certified. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater or a C and above. Must complete 6 weeks (216 hours - June-August). Completes and submits required documentation. Good organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and do so consistently. Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team effectively.
