Processing Specialist ll - PrintingPosition performs complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions. The focus of the position is to perform the day to day functions of reject decisioning/processing.This role is seeking someone who has worked in a bank lockbox, payment processing center, mailroom with check processing, or shared services payment department. LOCATION: Monterey Park, CA 91754POSITION: Right to HireSCHEDULE: 3rd Shift ( Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat) (12:00am - 8:30am) - Days off Tue and SunPAY RATE: $17.00hrSeeking Candidates with experience performing remittance processing or operating remittance equipment.• Opening, sorting, and batching mailed-in payments• Processing checks, coupons, and payment documents• Using lockbox systems• Keying payment amounts and customer account data• Verifying payment accuracy and matching documents• Working in high-volume, deadline-driven payment operationsThis refers to hands-on experience with machines such as:• Opex mail extraction machines• IBML or Panini check scanners• High-speed document scanners• Payment imaging equipment• Envelope openers, sorters, or batching machinesRejects - Pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails with general knowledge of operations. Perform basic level transaction sorting and decision-making. Header batched items with control documents and processing header.High Speed Mail Extraction & Scanning – Perform extraction and scanning on high speed and moderate to complex client handling using I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, 150 Falcon equipment.Processing medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning.Complexity is defined by client processing instructions.Process work accurately and maintain performance output in accordance with department standards.Assist with training when needed.Basic Qualifications:Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceComputer skillsAble to read and make decisionsAble to work well independently and with others on work for all clientsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentTeam player with good interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to change and learn new processes as the business evolvesAbility to lift up to 25 lbs.Able to stand for long periods of timePreferred Qualifications:1 year of experiencePre-Employment Screening:Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening based on local, state and federal laws in your region.
