Our Legal Department plays a critical role in supporting the business, managing risk, and ensuring compliance across our operations.We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to support the Legal team by providing research assistance, preparing legal documentation, and supporting litigation and corporate initiatives.The OpportunityThe Corporate Paralegal will work closely with the General Counsel and legal team to support a wide range of corporate legal activities including litigation support, legal research, policy development, and contract preparation.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment, has strong organizational skills, and can manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.What You’ll DoProvide legal support to the General Counsel in various aspects of corporate legal practice.Assist attorneys with litigation support and case management activities.Communicate with outside counsel regarding case developments and maintain updates to litigation logs and reserves data.Conduct legal research and analysis of regulations, legal articles, and judicial decisions.Prepare documentation supporting the development and implementation of corporate policies.Draft and assist in negotiating confidentiality agreements and other legal contracts.Collaborate with the Legal team on special projects and initiatives.Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive legal matters.Perform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel.What You BringBachelor’s degree required.Paralegal certificate required.Minimum 5+ years of related corporate paralegal experience or equivalent combination of education and training.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong ability to read and interpret legal contracts, policies, and correspondence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with attorneys, vendors, employees, and court staff.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Why JM EagleWork directly with executive leadership and legal professionals in a major manufacturing organization.Join a stable company supporting critical infrastructure across North America.Collaborative work environment with opportunities to contribute to high-impact legal initiatives.Competitive salary and benefits package.Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday–Thursday with remote Fridays.
