This position will be located in Winn, Michigan at our Morbark location.The IT Infrastructure Analyst, plays a critical role in connecting business stakeholders, processes, and technology to drive organizational improvement. This position is responsible for understanding business needs, translating requirements into actionable solutions, and supporting major technology initiatives. The IT Infrastructure Analyst enables efficiency and innovation by bridging the gap between technical teams and business objectives.If interested in this opportunity, please apply directly to the Career Opportunities section of the Alamo Group website; found at https://www.alamo-group.com/career-opportunities.The IT Infrastructure Analyst will:Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, workflows, and user stories.Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, including considerations for infrastructure, integration, performance, and scalability.Support major initiatives that span business systems, digital platforms, and underlying technology environments, ensuring alignment with infrastructure standards and capabilities, including:ERP modernization and cloud migrationCRM/customer portal implementationsIoT and Industrial IoT connected-equipment technologiesManufacturing execution system (MES) enhancementsProduct configuration and order-to-delivery improvementsCollaborate with project managers and technical leads to help define scope, timelines, and milestones.Facilitate user acceptance testing and support operational readiness, rollout, and adoption efforts.Work with data teams to define reporting requirements and validate data.Act as a liaison between business functions and IT delivery teams focusing on scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to understand system architecture, dependencies, and operational considerations. The ideal candidate should have/be:Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentationFoundational understanding of enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure or cloud platformsExperience with ERP, CRM, or related enterprise business systems and platformsAnalytical mindset and strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to identify, document, and communicate non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, reliability, and scalability expectations in support of business initiatives.Ability to consider and document security, risk, and operational readiness impacts as part of requirements and solution planning.Demonstrated ability to exhibit and model: Alamo Group's Core Competencies:Leading Change / Change Management: Ability to drive improvement of the team, division, and corporate goals and objectives through people.
