Role: Backend Java Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Rate: $50–55/hr. W2Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, or GC EAD preferred

Job Description:
The developer will be responsible for backend application development, microservices, AWS cloud services, database troubleshooting, and production support.
Required Skills:
- Strong Java development experience.
- Strong Spring Boot experience.
- Experience developing microservices.
- Strong REST API development experience.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including:
- S3LambdaGlueEMREKSStrong SQL skills.
- Database troubleshooting experience.
- Application debugging and production support experience.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
Work with AWS cloud services and batch-processing applications.
Write and optimize SQL queries.
Troubleshoot application and production issues.
Collaborate with engineering, platform, compliance, and business teams.
Support reliable application delivery in an Agile environment.
Nice to Have:
Snowflake / Data Warehouse experience. ETL / Batch Processing. Terraform. AI/ML experience. GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development experience.
