CDL-A Container Haul Driver – Local & Regional Routes

Amena Logistics is seeking a reliable, motivated CDL Class A driver for local and regional container runs servicing Virginia ports. This role is ideal for an experienced driver who values flexibility, predictable home time, and control over their workload. This position is structured as an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. What You’ll Be Doing Hauling containers to and from Virginia ports Drop-and-hook freight only (no touch) Solo driving Choosing the loads that fit your schedule Schedule & Pay Weekly pay via direct deposit 50/50 load split Home most nights Weekends off Equipment & Support Well-maintained Freightliner Cascadia Shared fuel costs All other truck-related expenses covered Occupational Accident Insurance provided Requirements Valid CDL Class A TWIC Card (required) Minimum 2 years of driving experience Clean driving record Ability to pass DOT drug screen and background check Port experience is a plus, but not required If you’re looking for consistent port work, reliable equipment, and the freedom to manage your own loads and earnings, we’d love to hear from you.
