Embedded Software Verification Engineer

Seeking an *Embedded Software Verification Engineer* to support the testing and verification of *C/C++ software used in aerospace display systems*. This individual will be responsible for ensuring embedded software meets *DO-178 standards* through software testing, verification, documentation, and compliance activities. Required Skills * *DO-178 experience – MUST HAVE* * Strong experience with *C/C++ code* * Experience with *embedded software testing and verification* * Experience using *SVN (Subversion)* for version control * Ability to test software against requirements and ensure compliance with DO-178 standards Preferred Skills * *OpenGL* experience * Experience working with *avionics or aircraft display systems* * Previous experience testing *graphical/display software* * Aerospace or other safety-critical embedded software experience Responsibilities * Test and verify *C/C++ software used in display systems* * Ensure software meets applicable *DO-178 requirements and standards* * Develop and execute software verification and test procedures * Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution * Review software requirements and code to ensure proper test coverage * Maintain software versions and configuration documentation using *SVN* * Work with software engineering teams to support certification and compliance activities #GRPA Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
