Position Summary:Electrical Engineer assists in several areas of the electrical construction process by designing, reviewing and stamping plans, conducting coordination studies, and participates in pre-construction services and interviews for projects.Position Responsibilities:Evaluation and design of electrical power, lighting, and miscellaneous low voltage systems in a variety of facilities including commercial, mixed-use, industrial, education, and healthcareCommunicate directly with owners, architects, contractors, power companies, and other design & building professionalsPrepare designs, calculations, sketches, and diagrams of electrical systemsProvide options and recommendations on equipment selections for clientsProduce work using computer aided design/drafting hardware and softwareWork on several projects at one timeField measure and document existing buildingsProduce and coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines
