Larson Company is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. What You'll DoAs an Accounting Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations while partnering with teams across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Accounting Supervisor with monthly journal entries and the General Ledger close Collaborating with business units to gather, compile, and consolidate financial data Reconciling general ledger accounts to maintain accurate and timely financial reporting Providing cross-functional support, including serving as back-up for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Preparing audit schedules and assisting with year-end audit processes Recording and reconciling company credit card transactions and expense reports Performing daily cash reconciliations Managing fixed assets and completing monthly reconciliations Contributing to special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed What You BringWe're looking for someone who combines technical accounting knowledge with a positive, service-oriented mindset: Strong commitment to delivering excellent internal customer service Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving Collaborative team player who works well across departments Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Experience with accounting and ERP systems preferred (Epicor Prophet 21 a plus) Education & ExperiencePreferred:Bachelor's degree in Accounting Also considered:Associate degree with 1+ year of general accounting experience Why You'll Love Working HereSupportive, inclusive workplace culture Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Stable organization with a strong reputation and engaged teams Equal Employment OpportunityAt Gustave A.
