Job Description :We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach PHYS 123 –Science of Flight at our Fort Lauderdale campus.Course DescriptionConnects basic principles within select branches of the natural sciences - atmospheric science, biology, chemistry, environmental science, and physics - with general applications of flight. Aerodynamics and aircraft control; propulsion and hydraulics; aircraft materials; effects of atmospheric phenomenon; environmental impacts.QualificationsApplicant QualificationsDoctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters’s degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).Degrees Within The Teaching DisciplineAeronautics, Astrophysics, Atmospheric Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Physics, Science Education.Related DisciplineEngineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geophysical Sciences, Natural Sciences.
