Paralegal with Security Clearance
As a valued member of this team, you will deliver high-quality paralegal services in support of the government's litigation efforts. This position is onsite in Washington, DC, where you will utilize your legal expertise, adaptability, attention to detail, and strong research and writing skills.Education RequirementsParalegal certificate, JD, orCurrently attending an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed, orOne year of legal training/experience or two years of college education may substitute for the paralegal certificateRequired SkillsAt least one year of litigation paralegal or relevant project experience (trial experience preferred)Automated litigation support experience valuedBasic legal knowledge and proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., LEXIS, Westlaw)Excellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency with computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets)Familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery proceduresAbility to deliver high-quality work under pressureDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCompile, prepare, and summarize materials for attorneysSummarize depositions and maintain case filesPerform legal research and control document discoveryManage exhibits and assist attorneys in the courtroomReview documents for relevance and compile documents for FOIA requests
