Senior Development Engineer
Overview
In this role you will drive solar PV and integrated battery energy storage project development across the US and internationally, building a portfolio of owner-operated renewable plants. You will work with cross-functional teams to qualify opportunities, perform technical due diligence, and respond to RFPs from utilities and municipalities. You’ll model energy production and battery dispatch, evaluate sites, and contribute to design concepts and procurement decisions. Key requirementsUndergraduate degree in engineering or equivalent technical field5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, design, analysis and constructionProficiency with PVSYST, HOMER, SAM, Helioscope and Plant PredictProficiency with AutoCADProficiency with MS Office applications, advanced Excel skillsPlus: Proficiency with utility power systemsPlus: Master’s degree in engineering or MBAPlus: NABCEP PV Installation Professional or PV Design SpecialistPlus: OSHA 10hr or similar safety certificationPlus: SketchUp/Skelion masteryCross-functional collaborationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and stakeholder managementPVSYSTHOMERSAM
