Full-stack Software Engineer

We are passionate about fostering a collaborative environment that encourages personal growth and work/life balance for our team members. *The work* We build and run a large-scale secure analytics platform used daily by a substantial analyst population. You’d work across the stack on applications that people depend on to do their jobs. There’s a second piece to this role that’s genuinely open. We’re looking at how AI capabilities fit into the platform. If you’ve been wanting to bring AI into real systems rather than demos, there’s room here to shape that. *What you’ll build* _Back-end services._ Java services and APIs supporting data access, search, and application functionality at scale. _Front-end applications._ Our analysts are power users with strong opinions, and the interface quality directly affects whether a capability gets adopted. You don’t need to be a designer, but you should care how things look and feel _Data integration._ Work with the pipelines and data stores behind the applications. _AI capability integration._ Evaluate and prototype where AI genuinely improves the platform and help decide what’s worth building. *What we’re looking for*

• 1 - 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Understanding of Java with production services
• JavaScript and a modern framework (React, Angular, or similar)
• Comfort with relational databases and SQL
• Experience taking applications to production
• Bachelor’s in computer science (additional experience considered in lieu)
• Active TS/SCI required

*What would set you apart*

• Hands-on work with LLMs, RAG, or agent frameworks, including personal projects
• Search and indexing at scale (Elasticsearch or similar)
• Geospatial web development, or experience with mapping APIs
• Data pipeline and workflow orchestration tooling
• Containerized deployment and CI/CD
• Prior experience building for analyst or operator users

*Why this role is different* You’d be helping decide how a platform at this scale adopts AI, early enough that the decisions are still open.
