Our trained professionals serve patients of all ages.Main Office Location: Exiges Diagnostics - 8800 SE Sunnyside Road, Suite 214N, Clackamas, Oregon 97015The primary purpose of the Mobile Radiologic (X-Ray) Technician is to provide quality x-ray services to patients, typically receiving homebased or instructional care, to limit as much discomfort and inconvenience as possible resulting in the ability of primary physicians, radiologists, and family member to determine proper plans for care. Essential Duties And Job ResponsibilitiesSubmit images via the EMR system to allow radiologists to diagnose patient illness by skillfully operating x-ray equipmentClearly communicate with patient about expectations prior to taking x-raySecure copy of physician's order and patient fact sheet from nursing staffEnsure operation of x-ray equipment by completing required preventative maintenance, following manufacturer's instructionsAssure that the patient receiving an x-ray is correct and matches the information provided by dispatchReport any needs for supplies and equipment as it may be recognizedComply with all state and federal regulations governing the education requirements in order to maintain your licenseUtilize proper radiation protection techniques in assuring the safety of yourself, patient, and staff while performing x-ray or EKGClean and maintain vehicle and equipment to keep them in good working orderMust maintain a strict level of confidentialityRequirements And QualificationsAbility to read and understand medical terminology and physician ordersCertification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Valid and unencumbered Radiologic Technician license in OregonProficiency in performing X-ray procedures with accuracy and efficiency.Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system.Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.Valid Driver's License in good standingCPR CardPreferred Qualifications, Education And/or ExperienceOperational experience of SR115 and SR130 x-ray machines with DR unitDemonstrable proficiency in healthcare industry terminology and systems.Avamere Living is an equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify.#clinical95
