This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing operational activities across multiple projects while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. The Supervisor will also manage staff performance, support client relationships, oversee reporting and documentation, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the region. Must have at least 5 years of wastewater experience and a valid 4M Full Wastewater License.SIGN-ON BONUS: We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this role; candidates must hold a valid 4M Full Wastewater License or higher to be considered.Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of wastewater utilities across the MA service areaLead and support up to 10 operations team members, including scheduling, mentoring, and performance managementCommunicate regularly with clients and customers regarding operational updates and inquiriesEnsure compliance with operational protocols and environmental regulationsManage vendor coordination, equipment procurement, and inventory trackingSupport laboratory coordination, QA/QC processes, and sampling activities, including groundwater monitoring programsPromote a culture of health and safety; help implement corrective actions as neededReview and support implementation of operational improvements and updated proceduresParticipate in project transitions, including staff onboarding and vendor selectionCollaborate with engineering and construction teams on upgrades and startup supportEvaluate system performance and troubleshoot complex operational or mechanical issuesReview reports and data logs to ensure plant efficiency and permit complianceManage emergency response plans and participate in a supervisor on-call rotationCollect and analyze data related to unplanned outages and recommend preventative strategiesMaintain documentation of maintenance, operational status, and system improvementsSupport housekeeping and equipment care at all facilitiesParticipate in weekend, holiday, or emergency shifts as neededPerform additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater operations and maintenanceMinimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in mobile field operationsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to independently manage scheduling, prioritize tasks, and drive team resultsDemonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and reportingProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with LogCheck or similar work order software preferredMust be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as requestedMust be willing and able to work overtime as requiredCertificates, licenses, and registrations:MA Grade 4M Full Wastewater License requiredValid Driver's License requiredWhat We Offer:Top-Tier Benefits: We offer comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance to keep you and your family healthy.Employer-Paid Basic Life Insurance: Your peace of mind matters, and we provide employer-paid life insurance to protect you and your loved ones.Disability Coverage: With both short-term and long-term disability coverage, you can feel secure knowing you're supported during difficult times.Tuition Reimbursement: We are committed to helping you enhance your career.
