This role plays a key part in ongoing operations, maintenance, and modernization efforts, ensuring applications remain resilient, accessible, and aligned with evolving federal cybersecurity and operational standards.This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval.RequirementsDesign, develop, test, and deploy Drupal enhancements and custom modulesMaintain and upgrade Drupal core and contributed modulesApply monthly Drupal patches and security updatesSupport staging, backup, and failover environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issuesImplement secure coding practices aligned with federal cybersecurity standardsSupport Section 508 accessibility compliance integrationParticipate in vulnerability remediation efforts within defined SLA timelinesAssist with controlled after-hours production deploymentsContribute to technical documentation and knowledge capture repositoriesSupport modernization initiatives and major CMS upgradesRequired QualificationsCandidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selectedBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical fieldMinimum 10 years of relevant experience5+ years of hands-on Drupal development experience (Drupal 8/9/10 preferred)Experience developing custom Drupal modules and themesExperience working with Apache web serversFamiliarity with Git-based version controlExperience supporting staging and production deployment processesUnderstanding of web application security best practicesFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning remediation processesExperience implementing Section 508 accessibility requirementsDesired QualificationsExperience supporting federal government web applicationsFamiliarity with NIST cybersecurity framework environmentsExperience working in DevSecOps environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of containerization (Docker) is a plusNo recruitment agencies, please.Company BenefitsWe take care of your well-being here at ZenPoint Solutions!
