Process Engineer

Overview In this role you drive process design and analysis for complex industrial manufacturing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, safe, and scalable solutions. You’ll lead design activities, mentor junior staff, and support field execution across Northeast client sites. The position offers exposure to biotech, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor programs with opportunities to influence project outcomes and technical standards. You will partner with senior engineers to shape design decisions and ensure alignment with codes and client needs. ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of process designs, drawings, specifications, and reportsPerform detailed calculations, modeling, and design of process system components using standard and proprietary softwareEnsure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards; coordinate with other disciplinesProvide construction support including submittal reviews and RFI responsesMentor junior staff on design principles and project executionContribute to project proposals and status reportsEngage in field activities related to construction as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff Key requirementsBachelor in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering5+ years of engineering, consulting, design, or relevant manufacturing/facilities experience in biopharma, food & beverage, or industrial manufacturingLeadership and mentoringCross-functional collaborationEffective communicationProcess design and calculationsModeling and design of process system componentsPreparation of drawings, specifications, and presentations
