The Ministry Site Director provides both spiritual and organizational leadership to effectively carry out the mission of STYFC. This role requires the ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams, coach residents, and build strong partnerships with local churches and community leaders.The Site Director is responsible for implementing relational ministry actions that foster Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people, while also managing ministry operations, fundraising efforts, and administrative responsibilities. With a commitment to personal spiritual growth, the Site Director embodies and advances the core values of STYFC, leading a healthy, growing ministry that impacts the lives of youth through the YFC ministry model.Essential FunctionsMinistry Team Development (40%)Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team in accordance with the processes found in the Knowledge BaseConduct monthly training with volunteersCoach residents in your assigned areaConduct one-on-one meetings at least once a monthCreate a strong connection between local churches and the ministry siteProvide training materials and ministry site standards for ministry leadersDevelop healthy ministry teams for each ministry siteCreate a yearly vision and goals for the ministry siteHelp every member of the ministry team see themselves in the yearly visionEstablish necessary support and guidelines to ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sitesBe an advocate in the community for young peopleAttend ministry and staff meetings as directedMeet regularly with supervisor for supervision, coaching, and shepherdingMeet at least once a monthHelp manage and maintain any YFC buildings or propertyOther duties as assignedReport progress and ministry updates to STYFCRelational Ministry Action Development (35%)Responsible for managing, facilitating, and serving in the Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs)Direct the ministry team at their site in accomplishing the standards outlined in the RMAs found in the Knowledge BaseEstablish and develop programming materialsTrain and evaluate ministry site leaders in the implementation of curriculum materialsRMA Requirements for site:Contacting: 3x/weekInitiating new relationships with lost young peopleClub: 1x/weekA welcoming, safe, high-energy, large group meeting designed to help lost young people discover who Jesus is by fostering authentic Christ-sharing relationships and connecting relevant topics to scriptureBuilding Times: 1x/weekSpending time in shared experiences with young people to build new relationships and grow existing onesAppointments: 2x/weekMeeting with young people to focus on their individual needsSmall Groups: 1x/week (may have 2 groups to split gender)A meeting with several young people to have an interactive discussion about relevant topics and connect them to God's truthCore: 1x/weekA team of adult and young leaders from a Campus Life Ministry Site who together follow Jesus in a way that naturally invites friends to discover Jesus with themTrips, camps, and other overnight events:Fall & Spring RetreatsSummer CampAttend staff retreatFundraising and Development (10%)Grow and maintain new and current donorsPray for all giving partners regularlyThank and personally connect with each giving partner at least once a yearMake touchpoints with ministry updates every 60 days and maintain 60-day reportUpdate LetterMaintain databaseHelp with fireworks stand — required to work on July 4th and Dec. 31stAdministration (10%)Complete and maintain 60-Day ReportsEnsure monthly updates to Impact & Site TrackersRespond to emails effectively and use them for documentationComplete annual CPT Reports with the teamMaintain Ministry Budget:Stay within monthly club expense limitsTurn in receipts in a timely mannerConfidentiality:Maintain confidentiality: Ensure that confidential information about staff, volunteers, or kids is not shared inappropriatelyIncident Reporting Protocol: When an incident is reported, refrain from discussing specific names or details with others on the team. Such matters should only be shared with your supervisor or within the leadership team as necessary. Beyond that, it is crucial to respect confidentiality and handle these situations with discretionEmpower others to uphold confidentiality: Lead by example and encourage staff, volunteers, and peers to prioritize confidentiality in their conversations and actions.
