Process EngineerThey design, manufacture and install complete solutions for the harshest environments!This company in East Canton, is now hiring for a Process Engineer. The role will apply their knowledge and understanding of quality management systems, six sigma and lean manufacturing concepts, practices, and principles to develop solutions to problems and opportunity for improvement. The Process Engineer actively contributes to the continual improvement initiatives of the Knight Quality Management System (QMS).Job Responsibilities:Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designedSuggests improved testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure ratesAnalyzes in-process data, reports, and defective products to identify and determine trends and recommend corrective actionsCollaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective root cause and corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programsComplete root cause and corrective action implementation for all initiated nonconforming reportsTroubleshoot manufacturing lines when nonconforming material is identifiedLead process improvement teamsAssist Ceramic Engineer with evaluation of new or modified raw material selection and approval.RequirementsGreen or black belt trainingAbility to lead and facilitate team projectsStrong root cause and corrective action methodologiesManufacturing operation and QA experienceExperience managing data in Microsoft Office 365 productsPreferred:CQE with lean six sigma trainingExperience with Minitab statistical softwareGreen and/or black belt certificationBackground in DMAIC methodologyManufacturing operation and QA experienceASQ Quality CertificationCeramic experience a plusBenefits:Our goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
