Product Manager
We are unable to work with 3rd-party or corp-to-corp candidates for this positionOverviewThe Product Manager will be responsible for acting as a liaison between multiple teams to ensure successful product releases achieving ultimate customer satisfaction. This role will require working collaboratively with all stakeholders to define and drive product requirements through product and release launches. To be successful in this role, one will have had experience writing detailed feature requirements, feature content planning for new product releases and proposing new hardware solutions. This position will report to executive leadership.Experience with network monitoring products is important - specifically with high speed ethernet switches, aggregated packets, and directly worked within layer 2 of the network.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies customer problems/unmet needsProvides technical feasibility, business objectives, and leads a cross-functional business and technical team, to deliver against the opportunityWorks collaboratively to define and drive product concepts, features, functionality, and specifications in order to exceed customer requirementsIncludes proposing new hardware offeringsDrives product releases and product launchesParticipates in product positioning discussions and brings new ideas and market research to the tableEnsures product requirements are well organized and clearly documented throughout product developmentFocuses efforts on user experience, usability, and functionalityProvides regular and irregular progress reports and other related updates and records to Executive ManagementPerforms ongoing customer and competitive analysisConducts market research to understand competitive technologies and trendsConducts technical product training on new releases to internal and external stakeholdersQualifications7+ years in a Product Management roleBachelor's Degree (BSCS/BSEE, MSCS/MSEE preferred)Proven experience successfully defining and executing product specifications and requirements.Network monitoring products specifically with high speed ethernet switches, aggregated packets, and worked within layer 2 of the network.
