SummaryJob Description:In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across our systems. You’ll work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify data issues, implement controls, and continuously improve data quality processes.This role focuses on business data quality, governance, and analysis and is not an IT Quality Assurance (QA) or software testing position.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision and at times independently, responsible to:Assist in research and fact-finding to develop or modify a database, data reporting tools for data analytics or other data development projects.Assist in preparing specifications.Assist in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining assigned area of specialization.Perform basic analysis, reporting, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Other duties as assigned or required.Monitor and assess data quality through audits, validation techniques, and reconciliation processesIdentify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies and issuesDevelop and maintain data quality dashboards and reportsDevelop and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards and reports that support key business decision makingCollaborate with IT and business teams to define data quality rules and standardsEstablish root cause analysis for recurring data issues and recommend preventative solutionsSupport data governance initiatives and contribute to the development of best practicesDocument procedures and ensure compliance with data regulations and company policiesExpertiseMid-level position for individuals with the aptitude, educational background, or related work experience to begin a career as a data quality analyst professional.ExperienceTypically has 3-5 years of relevant work experience.Technical SkillsIdeal candidate for this role will possess the following technical skills:Proven experience in a data quality, data analysis, or data governance role. Informatica or Snowflake Data Quality application experience preferred.Strong proficiency in SQL and data profiling toolsFamiliarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to translate business requirements into technical specificationsKnowledge/Skills/Experience RequiredEducational Requirements:Recent graduate of a related degree or certification program; or a demonstrable skill, aptitude or ability; or some prior, related work experience resulting in the ability to fulfill the entry-level responsibilities of the position.Communication And Interpersonal SkillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.At a minimum, the ability to work from ________a.m. to _________p.m., Monday through Friday.Consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour Company events.Ability to accept supervision.Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person. Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.Physical/Mental DemandsOvernight business travel by air and/or automobile, may be required. The ability to maintain confidences and confidential information may be required.The ability to perform under pressure and to be flexible with disruptions and deadlines is required.Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.
