Senior Sales Technician
3D Infotech is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer based in Illinois, USA, to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage key client relationships strategically.
Job Overview As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, developing account strategies, and contributing to the overall success of our sales department. This position will focus on one of 3DI's diverse offerings and contribute to its continuous improvement based on market trends and needs.
Responsibilities Learn PolyWorks software for dimensional inspection
Learn 3D scanning using laser and structured light (camera) based technologies
Scan and analyze parts and generate inspection reports for various customers
Conduct in-person and web-based demonstrations for customers
Perform online, classroom, and onsite training
Handle customer support calls and emails
Provide feedback to our software development team for product improvements
Write macro scripts to automate repeated operations
Strategic Account Management
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure the success of key accounts
Required Qualifications Associate degree in a technical field or relevant experience in the field of Business, Marketing, or related fields.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to various locations in the USA. There could be some international travel.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Must be willing to work from home and travel to customer sites as needed.
Proven experience in a senior-level sales or account management role.
Must be a Permanent resident or a U.S. person.
Required Skills Proficient in mechanical engineering blueprint interpretations
Effective written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Work effectively within a collaborative team comprised of employees
React quickly to changing engineering challenges and mission requirements
Willing and able to follow directions from the Regional Manager
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows

Desired Skills Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledge of 3D scanning hardware (Faro, Romer, Leica, Creaform, GOM)
Knowledge 3D scanning software (PolyWorks, Geomagic, GOM Inspect)
Familiar with Industrial and Collaborative Robots (Universal Robots, Fanuc, ABB)
Good at collaborating with team members
Disciplined in working with CRM software
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent time management and organizational skills
High attention to detail while completing all assigned tasks
Ability to learn and apply technical material quickly
Territories to cover Remote (Illinois, USA)
Salary From $70,000.00 base salary per year + commissions (No Cap)
