A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM/n• Patient ratio of 1:6-7/n• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation/n• No on-call responsibilities/n• May float to other med/surg units as needed/n• 1 year of nursing experience required/n• First-time travelers accepted/n• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start/n• BLS certification required/n• 24 hours of orientation provided/n• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks/n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including renal conditions and COVID/n• Royal blue scrubs required/n• Epic charting system used/n• Free parking available/n• Skills include CVA care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, renal failure management, IV care, and use of rapid response teams/n• Must be aware of potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)/n• Complete required modules averaging 4 hours pre-start/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates a 36-bed medical surgical unit specializing in renal care with a daily census of 36 patients.
