About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Consumer Business Lending as part of Consumer Technology group. This is a hands-on senior developer role requiring strong development skills and ability to work with advanced automations using technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence, Low-code technologies like UiPath, Microsoft Power Platforms, Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, Alteryx etc.In This Role, You WillLead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ year of UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience2+ Agentic AI and Agent building experience2+ years of Agile experience2+ years of experience with Python, programming or scripting languages2+ years of experience working with Generative AI, large language models (LLM), or foundation modelsDesired Qualifications:UiPath certification Agentic AI certification2+ years of experience with either GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift2+ years of experience with REST API development and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes2+ years of experience using Git for source code version control, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative development workflowsExperience with Dataverse, Claude, GitHUb Copilot and Agentic agent toolsExperience with LLM development using OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini modelsExperience with agentic frameworks and AI workflow orchestrationExperience designing applications that incorporate retrieval augmented generation, fine tuning, and structured promptingExperience with vector databases and retrieval systems such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Pinecone, or WeaviateExperience with LLM evaluation, observability, and monitoring including latency, cost, accuracy, grounding, drift detection, and safety assessmentsFamiliarity with ML lifecycle tools and processes such as feature stores, model registries, and CI or CD pipelines for AI servicesFamiliarity with responsible AI principles, compliance, and governance processes related to AI systems in regulated environmentsExperience optimizing AI application performance including prompt efficiency, model selection, caching, batching, and cost managementKnowledge and understanding of web systems: architecture or design Knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) disciplines such as Machine Learning or Natural Language ProcessingGood verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA BS/BA degree or higher in science or technologyJob Expectations:This position may require periodic work beyond regular business hoursThis position is not open to visa initiation or transferJob Locations1525 W WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina401 Las Colinas Blvd, Irving, Texas194 S Wood Ave, Iselin, New JerseyPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
