Division Finance Manager
About the RoleA growing division is looking for a senior finance leader to own end-to-end financial operations across the full accounting cycle. This person will sit at the intersection of field operations and executive leadership, driving performance visibility, cash management discipline, and long-term financial health across a complex, multi-project environment. Day-to-day, the role touches job costing, close management, and transactional oversight, while longer-term it carries real ownership of process and systems transformation. Direct line to the Division Controller.What You'll OwnServe as the financial link between estimating, procurement, operations, and division leadership, making sure the numbers reflect what's actually happening in the fieldOversee transactional finance functions including accounts payable, billing, and general ledger operationsHold the team accountable to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines without exceptionBuild and develop a team of five or more, with real investment in performance and professional growthManage audit support, vendor relationships, and insurance reviews as they ariseIdentify and lead improvements across systems, workflows, and reporting infrastructureTranslate financial data, cost trends, and project performance into actionable insight for leadershipBuild out financial models and scenario analyses to support bids, capital decisions, and strategic planningWhat You BringBachelor's in accounting or finance required; CPA or Master's preferred7+ years in accounting or finance with at least 3 of those in construction, including hands-on experience with Cost Plus/GMP, fixed-fee, and lump-sum billing and revenue recognitionDeep familiarity with construction-specific accounting: WIP schedules, retainage, lien waivers, bonding, OCIP, job costing, and percentage-of-completionExposure to construction ERP platforms a plus (CMiC, Viewpoint, Sage 300, Procore)5+ years leading teams inside a high-growth or high-complexity organizationWorking knowledge of CBA environments and experience overseeing both union and non-union payrollSolid GAAP foundation with a track record of financial operations ownershipStrong communicator who can flex between field leadership and the executive suiteAdvanced proficiency across M365, Excel modeling, Power BI, and SharePoint
