Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions on the Teradata platform. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with ETL processes, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop complex Teradata SQL queries, stored procedures, and macrosBuild and maintain ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or Teradata utilitiesPerform query optimization and performance tuning for large-scale data environmentsWork with business analysts and data architects to translate requirements into technical solutionsConduct data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionEnsure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standardsSupport production issues and provide root cause analysis (RCA)Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with Teradata SQL (joins, indexing, explain plans)Hands-on experience with Teradata utilities: FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, BTEQExperience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or similarSolid understanding of data warehousing conceptsStrong expertise in performance tuning and query optimizationExperience with Unix/Linux scriptingExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsNice to HaveExperience with Teradata VantageExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience working in Agile environmentsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
