Senior Analyst

Job Description DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Oversee, manage, prepare, analyze and provide advice to wealthy families on all aspects of personal financial planning including but not limited to:InvestmentsEstate planningTax planningDebt managementInsuranceResponsible for gathering all information for client financial mattersResearch on investment ideas and wealth management strategiesAssessing financial decisions and situations and thinking creatively of logical plans to evaluate the client's options and put together a quantitative and qualitative analysisPreparation of financial reports and presentations for clientsCoordination and execution of investment strategiesResponsible for attending client meetings and providing input in these meetings, talking to clients on the phone, and coordinating most of the work and communication with the client's outside advisors (CPA's, Attorney's etc.)Managing the flow of all projects for assigned clients and driving them to completionMust be able to ensure that all work products presented are timely, accurate and well thought outMust be able to delegate tasks, manage Analysts and communicate the status of projects to Managers and DirectorsResponsible for mentoring analysts by training, teaching and develop their careers at the firmBusiness development is not part of this roleOther duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree from accredited university with major focus of study in accounting or finance3+ years' work experience in financial services industryHave completed the CFP program, or in process of completionIMCA (CPWA) designation a plusCPA preferred, but not requiredMust have strong understanding of wealth management process Asset allocation and application to each client's goalsPerformance reporting and how to interpret numbersEstate planning and estate reduction strategiesCharitable planning strategiesAbility to perform property and casualty assessmentUnderstand how to evaluate life insurance and the product optionsMust have strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills as well as the ability to learn new systems and is internet savvyStrong financial and analytical skills and understanding of basic financial conceptsDesire to learn and grow professionally in the personal wealth management businessMust consent to and have favorable credit report and background checkNO AGENCIES PLEASENo calls or agencies please.
