Assistant General Manager
Job Description:
Motel 6 is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. As the AGM, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, and maintaining Motel 6’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guests have a positive experience by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Team Leadership: Support the hiring, training, and development of hotel staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Financial Oversight: Assist in managing the hotel’s budget, including controlling costs and maximizing revenue.
Compliance: Ensure that the hotel adheres to all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hotel management or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel management software and a solid understanding of the hospitality industry.
Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
