Senior Maintenance Technician

Lake Country Dairy is an award winning Hard Italian Cheese manufacturing plant. Shift hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts. Scheduled hours must be between 6PM-6A Senior Maintenance Technician Responsibilities. Perform general maintenance tasks within the plant including: Computerized operating systems (PLC) Electrical work Equipment repair Wiring Pneumatics Pump and motor repair Stainless steel TIG welding Advanced mechanics Waste water controls HVAC and boiler systems Other needed repairs throughout the plant Assign work orders to the night shift maintenance team, ensuring work gets completed and proper entries are made into the CMMS (Managers Plus) Respond to maintenance calls and needs within all areas of the plant Diagnose, service and repair equipment effectively and efficiently Complete preventative maintenance tasks per the established schedule Actively work to minimize downtime and keep production running Troubleshoot problems that occur and determine root cause solutions Support the installation of new equipment or other maintenance related projects as needed Complete paperwork, documentation and checklists in a thorough, accurate and legible manner Comply with all applicable safety, food safety and GMP policies Industrial Automation Design and program automation and controls systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and other automated control systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives and computers) Make modifications and improvements to automation equipment Support internal projects and process improvement efforts Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Assist in troubleshooting of plant equipment Why work for us? Experience, Qualities and Skills: 5 + years maintenance experience PLC Expertise Food industry experience required Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency Able to prioritize multiple demands Able to remain calm under pressure Able to troubleshoot effectively Focus on root cause determination and solution Effectively able to communicate with all levels of the organization Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Lake Country Dairy . 458 Western Boulevard .
