Soquel Union Elementary School DistrictTITLE:Classroom Teacher QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in a Special Day Class REPORTS TO: Principal EVALUATED BY:Direct supervision and evaluation is provided by the principal or designee DESCRIPTION:The primary function of the classroom teacher is to develop in the student: skills, knowledge (concepts, generalizations, principles), appreciations and attitudes that will promote his/her fullest possible development and assist him/her in valuing the dignity and worth of self and others. The teacher provides an educational program for the students and assists in other school programs as required.Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service as a Resource Specialist required. Intern Credential Accepted (interns are encouraged to apply).
