Job Description Barbon AsaderoThe Line Cook is responsible for executing high–quality dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. This role requires strong communication, organization, and ownership of assigned stations to ensure smooth BOH operations and an exceptional guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & ExecutionPrepare and cook all menu items according to established recipes and standards.Maintain consistency in flavor, portioning, and presentation.Follow all prep lists and ensure product is stocked throughout the shift.Station ManagementSet up, stock, and break down assigned station daily.Keep station clean, organized, and operating efficiently during service.Communicate product levels, low stock, or issues to the chef/Kitchen Manager immediately.Quality ControlEnsure all dishes leaving the window meet the restaurant's quality, temperature, and presentation standards.Execute tickets in the correct order while maintaining speed and accuracy.Team CommunicationMaintain clear communication with the Kitchen Manager/chef, servers, and other back-of-house staff.Work collaboratively during high-volume rushes to ensure smooth ticket flow.Cleanliness & SafetyFollow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols.Clean and sanitize work areas throughout the shift ("clean as you go").Properly store, label, and date all ingredients.Professionalism & ReliabilityArrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.Take ownership of your station and contribute positively to BOH culture.Follow direction and be open to feedback and training.RequirementsPrior line cook experience preferred, especially in high-volume kitchens.Ability to work efficiently under pressure.Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment.Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Weekend and evening availability required.What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay based on experience.Shift meals.Opportunity for growth within a fast-growing restaurant.A positive, teamwork-driven kitchen environment.
