Machine Operator - Peru, IL

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in Peru, IL. New employees can earn $54K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 50-hour work week. This includes the base rate, overtime, retention and production bonuses. There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives. Position is full-time with benefits! Machine Operator, 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM plus over time, including some Saturdays. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. * Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures. * Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications. * Assist with finished products by using banders to bundle finished products. * Assist with break press operations. * Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts for efficient material handling. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Adhere to safety protocols. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. * Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
