Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced electrophysiological procedures including pacemaker and ICD implantations, loop recorder implant/removal, and ablation therapies (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER). Manage a diverse outpatient and inpatient patient population aged 18-100. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising clinical staff and advanced practice providers. Utilize the EPIC EMR system to document and coordinate patient care effectively. Support up to 40 hours per week for vacation coverage and additional needs, with no call requirement. Required Skills: Board Certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology. Valid medical license and DEA registration. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Demonstrated expertise in electrophysiological procedures and arrhythmia management. Strong clinical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in academic, outpatient, or private practice settings. Additional certifications in electrophysiology or arrhythmia management. Familiarity with electronic health records beyond EPIC. Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of postCertification experience in cardiac electrophysiology. Experience working with diverse patient populations and performing complex arrhythmia interventions. Other Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for licensure in the applicable state. Willingness to support up to 40 hours per week as needed. Credentialing process completion within 90 days; temporary credentials may be available.
