Position Summary:
Pendulum is seeking a Data Engineer to develop, release and maintain production data architecture and services. Our ideal candidate has experience implementing cloud-based data pipelines in a fast-paced startup environment. The candidate is able to assess implications of various implementation strategies and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders. Implement and maintain data integrations and ingestion from relevant data sources. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to expand their technical experience and capabilities and grow valuable project and technical management experience in a dynamic, collaborative, fast-growing startup environment.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, release and maintain company-wide data sources, pipelines and services
Work with a team of engineers developing and supporting corporate data warehouse in Snowflake and Redshift with technologies such as fivetran and DBT
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and domain experts to implement continuous testing processes
Identify and resolve data integrity issues and maintain and create new data integrations
Learn and teach valuable techniques and principles through code and analysis reviews
Proactively engage your users to understand and address their ongoing and future needs
Plus:
Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow or Luigi
Experience with Docker, Linux, Make, Bash
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, Batch
