Right Price.Role: Systems EngineerDuration: 24 Months (High Possibility of extension)Location: Mossville, ILJob Description:Translate customer / commercial requirements into system requirementsDecompose high-level automation & autonomy features into system-level functional requirements, maintain clear traceability and documentationDefine the system architecture, interfaces, and integration strategy across the machine subsystemsCollaborate on the design approach and trade-offsDevelop features integrating across hardware, software, sensors, and control systemsCreate and track FMEAsCross-functional coordination with machine systems, software, digital teams, validation, and product supportIssue resolution through triage and troubleshooting Additional Technical Skills(Required)Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Robotics or equivalent technical field.5 years of relevant engineering development workFamiliarity with software development processesExperience reading and understanding prints for components and wiring harnessesExperience writing and tracking requirementsStrong understanding of integrating sensors and compute as well as tradeoffsGreat teamwork, communication, analysis, and troubleshooting skills are required.The individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to learn at an accelerated pace, and willing to put in the time to get the job done.(Desired)Experience in the areas of robotics, remote control, or autonomyExperience with datalinks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) and associated tools (CANape, Wireshark, etc.)Experience with software development tools such as git, debuggers, and compilersExperience with ROSExperience with perception and positioning sensor configuration and calibrationExperience with FMEA processes and a basic knowledge of electronic system failure modesExperience developing systems for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway applicationsWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
