Our speech-language pathologists use a child-led approach, offering individualized support tailored to each child's unique needs, including verbal and alternative communication methods. We work closely with families to equip children with the tools and confidence they need to thrive and actively engage within their communities.We are seeking to hire Speech-Language Pathologists who are committed to providing exceptional speech and language services to children with varying communication needs within the school system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric communication development, patient assessment, and parent education. While school experience is preferred; it is not mandatory. This is a 1099 contract position looking to fill full-time and part-time positions available in Katy, TX for the 2026/2027 school year. The position offers an opportunity to grow and make a difference in patients' lives by improving communication skills and supporting overall development.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments, utilize appropriate tools, and therapeutic materials to support evidence-based practices.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for student's identified with a communication impairment.Provide direct therapy services in alignment with IEP goals and district guidelines while monitoring student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.Organize and maintain therapy schedules to meet student's special education service minutes.Collaborate with teachers, special educators, psychologists, and related service providers to support student progress.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility meetings, annual reviews, and re-evaluations to provide recommendations for accommodations, classroom strategies, and modifications to support communication in the school setting.Organize and write clear, timely, and compliant evaluation reports, progress notes, and documentation required by the school district.Communicate regularly with families to provide updates, training, and education regarding student needs and home strategies.Maintain accurate and confidential student records according to state and federal regulations (IDEA, FERPA).Stay informed on state laws, district policies, and professional requirements related to school-based speech-language services.Participate in professional development and continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.QualificationsMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of TexasCertification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellows welcomedSLP Assistant with public school experience welcomedExperience working with school-aged populationPrevious school experience preferredAbility to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teamsPosition DetailsFull-time on-site positions for 2026-2027 school yearUp to 37.5 hours per week, Monday-FridayElementary-High School positionsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationReferral bonus program for recommending qualified candidatesApply Now!**Please email your resume to info@therapycornerslp.com.
