Assistant Controller

Please apply to this job posting or reach out to Eleonor Paese directly at Eleonor.Paese@ambrion.com for a quick and confidential conversation!Responsibilities:Support the oversight of accounting and financial reportingManage the month-end and year-end close process and ensure timelinessOversee accounting related to commercial real estate assets and corporate financial assetsAssist with coordination and project management of tax filings and external tax advisorsProvide financial reporting and insights to support internal decision-makingEnsure compliance with GAAP and company policiesHelp identify and implement process improvements and stronger accounting fundamentalsOversee and mentor a team of accounting professionalsAssist with prioritization and workload management across the accounting teamQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance7+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA (strongly preferred)Prior people leadership experienceStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with multiple prioritiesCompensation and Benefits:Salary Range: $100,000–$130,000This role is also eligible for various benefits, including: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k), Long-term Disability, Paid Time Off, VacationActual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.This role is based in the Twin Cities.
