The ideal candidate will have experience building robust, user-centric web applications and backend services using JavaScript (frontend), Java (backend), and Elasticsearch (search and indexing). Key responsibilities will be to:Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using JavaScript frameworksImplement and optimize backend services and APIs using JavaIntegrate Elasticsearch to support efficient search, indexing, and retrievalCollaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver intuitive user experiencesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeMonitor application performance and address any issues with availability, scalability, or data accuracyParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-upsContribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategiesClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.Experience The candidate must have at least fourteen (14) years of general experience in software development or a similar field. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.Required SkillsExperience with JavaScript (React, Angular, or similar) and Java (Spring Boot or similar)Experience integrating and querying ElasticsearchProficiency in RESTful API development and microservice designExperience working with JSON, XML, and structured metadataFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailCommunication and collaboration abilitiesDesired SkillsFamiliarity with KubernetesKnowledge of accessibility and 508 compliance standards.BenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits.
