If you like staying busy, learning new skills, and being part of a team where your work matters, this is a great fit.About the RoleWe’re looking for someone to join our team in a fast-paced print shop environment where customer service and production overlap daily.This role sits at the front desk/lobby, but it’s not just answering phones—you’ll be helping manage workflow, preparing files, and jumping in where needed to keep things moving.There are a lot of moving parts, frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities. Some days are steady, some are busy.👉 You won’t be expected to know everything right away—this is a role you’ll grow into over time.⸻Schedule* Part-time: 20–30 hours per week* Hours will fall within: * Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM * Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM* Schedule will be set based on business needs and team coverage* Potential to grow into a full-time role over time⸻What You’ll Do* Answer phones and assist walk-in customers* Respond to emails and quote requests* Process orders and help keep jobs moving* Follow up on quotes in a timely manner* Communicate timelines and updates to customers* Prepare print-ready files (bleed, sizing, formatting)* Send proofs (PDFs or simple visuals)* Place orders with central production when neededAdditional support tasks (you’ll learn these over time):* Assist with packaging orders during busy times* Help with shipping (labels, organizing outgoing jobs)* Assist with invoicing and basic AR follow-up* Maintain filing and organization of documents* Keep the front lobby clean, organized, and presentable⸻Design & File Prep (Important)You don’t need to be a designer, but you do need to:* Be comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator (or willing to learn quickly)* Understand or learn basic print setup (bleed, margins, sizing)* Make simple edits to customer files👉 If you don’t know Illustrator yet, you must be willing to learn—it’s part of the role.⸻What This Job Is Like* Fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable* Frequent interruptions and task switching* A mix of customer service and hands-on work* Some slower periods where focus shifts to organization and follow-up⸻What We’re Looking For* Strong communication and customer service skills* Comfortable multitasking and switching priorities* Detail-oriented (especially with files and orders)* Organized and proactive* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset* Willingness to learn and adapt⸻Nice to Have (Not Required)* Experience in print, signage, or production* Experience with Adobe Illustrator* Experience in a fast-paced service environment⸻Physical Requirements* Ability to stand and move throughout the day* Frequent walking between front desk and production areas* Occasional lifting of boxes and materials (up to ~50 lbs)* Bending, reaching, and handling printed materials* Working in an active, production-based environment⸻Compensation* $18–$20/hour depending on experience
